The Turn of the Screw service will be ending December 31, 2010. We'd like to thank all our participating authors and members for making the Turn of the Screw a great service and we hope you'll enjoy it until we close the doors at the end of 2010.

What is this subscription thing all about?

The premise behind our subscription page is a lot like the old serial stories and movies from the 1940s and 50s. Or the penny serials from Charles Dickens' time. Each Monday, the subscriber receives chapters of current stories, usually five to seven at a time for a total of twenty to twenty-five a month. The stories run from six to eighteen months, depending on their length. At the end of each story's run, the full piece will be available for one month, just to catch anyone who might have come late to it. After that, each finished book will enter our regular ebook catalogue, and yep, a new one will take its place.

With novels by Torquere Press favorites and newcomers alike, there's sure to be something for everyone. Along with the ongoing serials, there are also a number of exclusives available to members that are not slated to become ebooks, Rockin' the Redneck Tux by BA Tortuga, The Lion and the Sea by Julia Talbot, Luck of the Draw by Dallas Coleman, Club Fantasy and Velvet Glove by Sean Michael, as well as 8 Seconds by BA Tortuga, Dog Tags and Cowboy Boots by Sean Michael -- thirteen chapters of Jarheads missing scenes, and Adrenaline Junkies, ten chapters of Thatcher missing scenes from Julia Talbot. Add to that a monthly "bonus" section featuring a different Turn of the Screw author each month and Turn of the Screw is an excellent bargain and not to be missed by the gay romance aficionado.
